Travel List – Trip Packing App Reviews

It takes a while to customize, but now I dont have to worry at all about forgetting anything when I travel. I even added a custom grouping for todo items like book a cat sitter, water plants, turn on my out of office notification, etc. I love the style and that it syncs across all my devices. Get it!

Simple and beautiful graphical interface. Works exactly as I want it - sophisticated but doesnt have some of the silly and distracting bells and whistles other packing apps have. Totally worth the purchase price.

When trying to email a list to a friend it freezes and stays locked for 20+ minutes. Cant do anything. Cant hit cancel, cant type. Please fix.

Very clean easy to use interface and very handy. Love the design and ease of use. I would like to see an option to export or a PDF. Thanks for a great design!

Once you get the hang on customizing, set up is a breeze. Be as general or detailed as you need.

iCloud syncing is finally working properly. This is still my first choice for packing. However items that were hided on the previous version stay hidden and theres no more an option to unhide them. I had to manually re-type all of them into the preset list.

Easiest Ive ever used, the cleanest and just the best. The user interface is more streamlined than other packing lists Ive used, easiest to add to and alter your list. A huge relief, basically.

Would be great if the iCloud sync would work.

UPDATE: iCloud sync still broken; the latest update does not provide a fix. Really frustrating. This is a great, simple app, highly customizable but since the recent iOS 9 update, iCloud sync no longer works, which makes it cumbersome when you create lists on your iPad and then want to check items off while packing using your iPhone. I emailed support but havent heard back yet. Disappointing.

I love everything about this app! It allows you to creat your own categories or items to pack. You can check off or hide items as you go. The print option looks fabulous and works wonderfully. You can even email your list. Well organized and thoughtfully planned. Very clean and simple as well. 5+ stars from a persnickety perfectionist!

That pretty much says it all. Apps should just work. There is really no excuse for them not doing so. DELETED!

This app has been indispensable for me-- Ive used it for all the traveling Ive done over the last 2 or 3 years. The look of the app is really clean and easy to follow. While the presets for the packing lists are helpful, you can add or delete categories as you please and customize the items that show up in certain categories. You can also toggle which categories are shown, which helps keep clutter down when putting together a packing list and helps when you want to keep a category but only need to use it once in a while (like skiing equipment). I also like that you can make an itinerary and set alerts for yourself. Ive never had a problem with syncing between devices and have just checked that my iCloud sync is working perfectly. Honestly have never had a problem with this app and always come to it for any trips Im taking.

Two stars for being a great idea. Having a fully customizable packing list--that would be awesome! And it almost works. But sometimes, the changes made to the master list do not show up as available when I go to add them to a specific list that I have created. For instance, I added "iPad" to the list of "Gadgets" in the master list. But when I open that list again, hoping to add "iPad" to my packing list for a specific trip I am taking, that item does not appear. Creating my own list in a Word document might be more cumbersome, but it is definitely more reliable.

Beautiful clean and simple UI, which efficiently offers tons of features. Well worth the price. And the developer is super helpful and quick to respond to support requests. A must-have when planning a trip. I LOVE that the day of your trip if you leave with stuff still unchecked, it alerts you. Hint: add a section for "tasks" you always need to do before leaving town.
